For our client, international group from life science industry we are looking for Group FP&A Management Reporting Lead.
Group FP&A Management Reporting Lead (m/f)
Responsibilities:
- own the monthly consolidated management reporting cycle, producing timely, accurate and decision-useful reporting for group and country leadership,
- lead development and delivery of the annual budget process, including clear calendars, guidance, assumptions and consolidation checks,
- develop group forecasting and long-range planning processes that provide management with forward-looking information to steer the business,
- prepare and coordinate board and shareholder reporting materials, translating financial results, risks and outlook into clear commentary and actionable insight,
- reconcile statutory results to management reporting; explain adjustments, maintain clear supporting schedules and work with local finance teams to resolve differences,
- analyse group and country financial performance, including actuals versus budget, forecast and prior periods; identify key drivers, risks, opportunities and corrective actions,
- prepare group cash-flow analysis and contribute to developing cash forecasting processes,
- establish and maintain consistent reporting definitions, processes, controls and quality checks to improve the reliability and comparability of financial information across the group,
- partner the FP&A Strategic Analysis team to deliver actionable insights and improve operational decision-making,
- drive continuous improvement in reporting, planning and analysis processes, including effective use of systems, automation and data tools; contribute to finance transformation projects,
- directly manage the FP&A Analyst, setting priorities and coordinating deliverables, providing day-to-day guidance and feedback.
Requirements:
- university degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline,
- a recognised professional accountancy qualification (for example, ACA, ACCA or CIMA) is preferred,
- substantial progressive experience in FP&A, including hands-on preparation of group management reporting and/or consolidation of group results, typically in a multi-entity environment; typically 7+ years,
- strong technical skills in budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, financial modelling, variance analysis, cash-flow analysis, consolidation and statutory-to-management reconciliations.
- familiarity with IFRS is required, knowledge of Czech GAAP (CZ GAAP) is an advantage,
- experience preparing senior leadership, board or shareholder materials and communicating complex financial information clearly and concisely,
- advanced spreadsheet and financial modelling skills, confidence working with planning, reporting and business-intelligence tools,
- strong business acumen, attention to detail, analytical judgement, prioritisation and ownership,
- excellent communication and stakeholder-partnering skills across finance and operational teams. Prior experience leading, coaching or coordinating colleagues is preferred but not required,
- curiosity about AI and automation, with sound judgement on validation, data privacy, confidentiality and responsible use of approved tools.
