Senior GL Controller (m/f)

For our Client, an international company, we are looking for Senior GL Controller.

• take part in the monthly closing process and ensure financial information is complete, accurate and delivered on time,
• support the preparation and analysis of monthly financial results, including investigating significant variances,
• support Balance Sheet reconciliations and ensure appropriate supporting documentation is maintained,
• cooperate with finance and business teams across different markets,
• coordinate local tax and reporting activities, including VAT and CIT, together with external advisors and service providers,
• support the preparation of statutory financial statements,
• assist with internal and external audits, including gathering documentation and supporting process reviews,
• contribute to improving and standardizing accounting processes and controls,
• support budgeting and forecasting activities in cooperation with the Business Control team,
• participate in R2R-related projects focused on harmonization and process optimization,
• identify opportunities to automate and digitalize finance processes,
• support the implementation of new finance tools and solutions.

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field,
• at least 5 years of professional experience in Accounting, GL/R2R, Controlling or a similar finance role,
• experience gained in an international environment or Shared Service Centre supporting multiple countries,
• good knowledge of accounting principles, GAAP/IFRS and financial reporting,
• familiarity with VAT, CIT and statutory reporting,
• strong Excel skills; experience with SAP or another ERP system,
• fluent English, both written and spoken.
