IT Category Procurement Strategy Manager (m/f)

For our Client, from automotive industry, we are looking for IT Procurement Strategy who will be responsible for developing and executing the procurement strategy for the IT category, covering an annual spend exceeding 40 mln EUR. The role is focused on maximizing business value from IT procurement through strategic sourcing, cost optimization, supplier management, commercial negotiations, risk management and effective stakeholder collaboration.

• develop and execute the IT procurement and category strategy, aligned with the company's overall business and technology strategy,
• own and manage an IT procurement portfolio with an annual spend exceeding PLN 100 million,
• develop multi-year category strategies, category plans and sourcing roadmaps,
• identify and prioritize opportunities for cost optimization, value creation and supplier consolidation,
• lead strategic sourcing initiatives, including market analysis, sourcing strategy, RFP/RFQ processes, supplier evaluation and negotiations,
• lead complex and high-value commercial negotiations with strategic IT suppliers.
• develop and implement Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) optimization strategies,
• dentify, deliver and track cost savings, cost avoidance and other value-creation initiatives,
• develop strategies for key suppliers, including supplier segmentation, performance management and strategic supplier relationship management,
• assess and mitigate key supplier and category risks, including supplier dependency, concentration risk, business continuity, pricing exposure and contractual risks,
• partner with CIO, IT Leadership, Finance, Legal, Risk, Information Security and business stakeholders on strategic procurement decisions,
• establish and maintain appropriate commercial and procurement governance for major IT contracts,
• monitor market developments, pricing trends, technology trends and supplier dynamics and translate them into actionable procurement strategies,
• develop and continuously improve IT category management, strategic sourcing and procurement methodologies,
• prepare business cases, commercial analyses and strategic recommendations for CPO, Procurement Director, CIO and senior management,
• establish and monitor category KPIs, including savings, cost avoidance, spend coverage, contract coverage, supplier concentration, compliance and supplier performance.

• 5+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing or category management, preferably within IT procurement,
• proven experience managing a large and complex spend portfolio,
• strong track record in strategic sourcing and complex commercial negotiations,
• strong understanding of IT procurement categories,
• strong commercial and financial capabilities, benchmarking, business cases and should-cost analysis,
• proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives,
• strong stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence senior IT and business leadership,
• excellent analytical, negotiation and strategic thinking skills.
