For our Client, a leading international professional services company, we are looking for a Senior Investment Analyst (Private Equity) to join a newly created strategic function in Warsaw. The role will focus on identifying and assessing early-stage business opportunities across M&A, restructuring, project finance, infrastructure, IPOs and other significant market developments. This is a unique opportunity to build a new capability from the ground up, combining investment analysis, market intelligence and commercial insight, with exposure to senior stakeholders across an international organisation.
Senior Investment Analyst (Private Equity) (m/f)
Responsibilities:
- monitor markets, sectors and companies to identify emerging business opportunities,
- identify and assess potential investment and transaction opportunities,
- conduct financial, market and sector analysis to evaluate commercial relevance,
- track and prioritise opportunities throughout their development,
- translate complex market and financial information into clear, actionable insights,
- prepare recommendations and present findings to senior stakeholders,
- develop frameworks, methodologies and processes for opportunity tracking and assessment,
- take ownership of building and developing the capability from the ground up.
Requirements:
- experience in Private Equity, Investment Management, M&A, Corporate Development, Investment Banking, Project Finance, Transaction Advisory or Strategy Consulting,
- proven experience in investment screening, opportunity assessment, deal origination, market mapping or transaction-focused research,
- strong financial and analytical skills combined with commercial judgement,
- ability to identify relevant market signals and translate them into actionable recommendations,
- strong communication and stakeholder management skills,
- ability to work independently and take ownership of a newly created area,
- excellent command of English.
