For our Client, an international organization operating in the medical services sector, we are looking for a Financial Controller to join the finance team of one of its divisions. The role combines financial planning, budgeting, and reporting responsibilities with close collaboration across departments, supporting the division's financial stability and growth.
Financial Controller (m/f)
Responsibilities:
- preparing annual budgets and financial forecasts in cooperation with department heads,
- monitoring budget performance, analyzing variances, and reporting to senior management,
- overseeing monthly reporting packs, staff cost reporting, and project profitability reports,
- managing the month-end close process, including income statements and balance sheets,
- implementing cost control measures and identifying savings opportunities,
- managing working capital, including debtor and creditor levels and contract terms,
- maintaining financial accounting systems, policies, and procedures,
- supporting business development through input on costing, rate cards, and contract terms,
- supporting the implementation and maintenance of the CTMS system,
- monitoring internal controls to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies,
- cooperating with division leadership and operational teams to improve business efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a professional accounting qualification,
- at least 5 years of experience in finance management,
- English proficiency at C1 level,
- strong verbal and written communication skills,
- solid understanding of business principles and practices,
- superior attention to detail combined with strong organizational and planning skills,
- strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills,
- experience working with Power BI, including reporting and implementing new reports in the tool.
