On behalf of our Client, an international organization operating in the business services sector, we are looking for a Credit Control / OTC Specialist with French. If you have experience in finance, accounts receivable or OTC processes, are fluent in French and English, and enjoy working with data and performing financial analysis, this opportunity could be a great fit for you.
Credit Control with French (m/f)
Responsibilities:
- reviewing and approving customer credit limits and assessing ongoing credit risk exposure,
- analysing customers' creditworthiness and financial standing,
- negotiating alternative forms of security with customers, such as bank guarantees and letters of credit, to mitigate accounts receivable risks,
- negotiating credit limits with credit insurance providers to reduce financial exposure,
- making decisions on order releases based on credit risk assessments, outstanding balances and available credit information,
- monitoring credit risks and bad debt exposure in line with company policies and accounting standards,
- submitting claims to credit insurers or activating alternative security measures,
- performing daily credit control activities, ensuring accuracy and timely execution,
- resolving customer queries and addressing operational issues,
- preparing reports and financial analyses as required by the supervisor.
Requirements:
- fluent French (minimum C1 level),
- good command of English, enabling effective communication in an international environment,
- very good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookup functions and reporting,
- strong analytical skills and attention to detail,
- excellent communication and problem-solving skills,
- ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and manage time effectively,
- previous experience in finance and accounting, particularly in OTC, credit control or master data, would be an advantage,
- a university degree would be an asset.
