Credit Control Process Lead with French (m/f)

On behalf of our Client, an international organization operating in the business services sector, we are looking for a Credit Control Process Lead with French to oversee credit control operations and lead a team of credit analysts. In this role, you will be responsible for managing credit risk, optimizing debt collection processes and ensuring efficient cooperation with internal stakeholders. Responsibilities:

  • managing a team of credit analysts and supporting their daily work,
  • overseeing credit control activities, including payment monitoring and debt management,
  • assessing customers' financial credibility and managing credit limits,
  • identifying and minimizing financial risks related to outstanding receivables,
  • cooperating with insurance providers and customers on credit limits and financial security,
  • making decisions on releasing orders based on customers' payment history and credit risk,
  • working closely with Sales and management to resolve payment issues and avoid delays in order processing,
  • preparing and reviewing financial reports for local teams and headquarters,
  • monitoring team performance and ensuring that processes are delivered on time and in line with internal standards,
  • identifying opportunities to improve workflows and the quality of financial operations,
  • ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations, internal procedures and control requirements.

Requirements:

  • at least 4 years of professional experience in a business environment, with business or marketing experience required according to the original role criteria,
  • good command of French and English (minimum B2 in both languages),
  • higher education degree,
  • experience in credit control, accounts receivable, debt collection or financial risk management,
  • knowledge of debt collection regulations and financial security practices,
  • previous experience in team coordination or people management,
  • strong analytical skills and the ability to make informed business decisions,
  • excellent communication and negotiation skills,
  • ability to handle challenging situations and work effectively under pressure,
  • very good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel, and experience with reporting tools,
  • familiarity with SAP S/4HANA.
