Senior Business Development Manager (Clinical Research Partnerships, EMEA) (m/f)

For our Client, an established international organization operating in the field of Clinical Research and Medical Services, we are looking for an experienced business development professional who will drive commercial growth across the EMEA region. This role is dedicated to identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and acquiring international clients requiring clinical research and medical services. It is an excellent opportunity for an entrepreneurial sales professional who enjoys opening new markets and creating long-term business relationships within the healthcare industry.

Responsibilities:

  • identify and acquire new business opportunities across the EMEA region,
  • develop strategic relationships with pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, CRO, healthcare, and research organizations,
  • generate and manage a pipeline of new international business opportunities,
  • lead commercial discussions and negotiations with prospective partners,
  • prepare tailored commercial proposals in cooperation with operational and scientific teams,
  • represent the company during international industry events, conferences, and client meetings,
  • monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities within Clinical Research and Medical Services,
  • collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project handovers and long-term client satisfaction,
  • deliver ambitious sales targets and contribute to the company's international growth strategy.

Requirements:

  • proven experience in international Business Development, Sales, or Strategic Partnerships,
  • previous experience in Clinical Research sector,
  • successful track record in acquiring international clients and developing new business across the EMEA region,
  • alternatively, experience in export sales within the medical or healthcare industry across EMEA will also be considered,
  • strong commercial mindset with a hunter mentality and passion for winning new business,
  • high level of independence, ownership, and accountability,
  • excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills,
  • ability to work effectively in an international environment,
  • english language proficiency at C1 level or higher,
  • willingness to travel internationally (EMEA) when required.
